Brain dump

I have a lot going on in my head. I gotta get it out!

So wedding planning is going well. We are trying so hard to keep it on the cheap side and still make it look expensive. So far, so good. We have a phone interview with the dj that we want tonight. Me and my mom went to a bridal show this past weekend and met with all the dj's there and the only one that held more than a 5 minute normal conversation with us was DJ Connection. The guy we talked with, Josh, had a very upbeat and great personality to him and assured us that we will have fun at our wedding. He's offered a great deal, only $700 for the whole wedding, no limitations, offering lights at no extra cost and also emceeing the event. Perfect! We plan on putting the down payment on Friday.

The apartment we are living in is too small. For real! We are bursting at the seams in the 1 bedroom apartment. I hate the kitchen. I don't even want to get in there and clean it, but i know I have to. I want to cook and bake more, but the kitchen is so small and claustrophobic, I don't have the room to prepare a big meal easily. So what are we going to do? We are now searching, for a rental HOUSE!! Surprisingly there are some pretty good deals out there for 3 bedroom homes. Renting is one option we have, probably our only option due to our credit. But I am still curious, I still want to make an appointment with a realtor to see what our options would be if we were to take a mortgage and buy a home. This is out of curiosity, probably not going to qualify for a good deal for a loan, so renting a home would be fine with me... we just need a home with a backyard, I need a bigger kitchen, we need an office, and a garage, and a guestroom. These aren't wants, they are needs. The question is, do we move after the wedding when our lease is up? Or do we break lease early and move now? Well, that really depends on if we find a perfect house for a perfect deal, this could take a while, I am going to be really picky.

I can't wait till David gets his raise. Then I can quit Blockbuster. I'm so sick of not having a full weekend to do things with family anymore. He should be getting that done in a couple months... hopefully.
